Some state-of-the-art drugs such as gene & cell therapies are required to be stored and transported at deep-cold temperature such as -80℃ and -180℃, which increases risks of loss of container closure integrity and breakage in the case of glass vials, and thereby plastic vials are more suitable for deep-cold supply chain. However, typical plastic vials are at a risk of carbon dioxide permeation by exposed to carbon dioxide generated from dry ice. OXYCAPT™ is a multilayer plastic vial which has an excellent gas barrier and can contribute to comprehensive risk managements of deep-cold supply chain.
