Sustainability is currently one of the key priorities in the pharma industry. Large companies have pledged targets e.g. on carbon emissions, plastic neutrality and other objectives. The cGMP and other regulatory frameworks for pharmaceutical packaging however sets boundaries for the development and production of sustainable plastic film solutions.
Südpack Medica, with its unique level of integration and extrusion technology set-up, is stepping up to this challenge and has developed new products that combine high standards in terms of functionality, quality, and traceability with improved environmental-friendliness. PharmaGuard as the most advanced PP-Mono blister solution for oral solid dose applications is one example how Südpack is preparing to meet today´s and tomorrow´s needs of the global pharma industry.
