Abstract
The Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Forum (PMF) formed a cross-industry team to tackle the technical and regulatory challenges of transitioning to sustainable blister packaging materials, particularly alternatives to PVC. Based on a risk-based approach, it is proposed to adapt the regulatory requirements in order to accelerate the registration of such new materials.
