Biography
Sherifat completed her Masters of Pharmacy degree ( MpharmS) from the United kingdom. Sherifat has extensive clinical experience in various therapeutic areas: immunology, cardiology, respiratory, oncology, pediatric and mental health. Her most recent appointment in hospital was as the Lead acute clinical pharmacist at the Royal Free hospital in London. Sherifat lead her team alongside consultants on the A&E department and assisted with the effectiveness of two new services at her trust: SDEC ( short stay dependency unit) and TREAT (triage rapid elderly assessment team) which aims to benefit both patients and the healthcare system by reducing waiting times and hospital admissions. Sherifat is currently providing clinical GP remote work and completing her postgraduate independent pharmacy course specializing in the respiratory disease Asthma at the University of East Anglia. Since 2020 Sherifat has been working in acute care and has a focus on providing accurate, fast and effective distribution of medication to improve health care outcomes in patients.
