- Markus Schönfeld is a seasoned professional with a background deeply rooted in engineering and project management. Graduating from the Technical University Dresden in 1995, Markys began his career as a scientific employee at the Institute for Processing Machines and Packaging Technology at TU Dresden. He later transitioned to become a Project Manager at the Fraunhofer Application Center for Processing Machines and Technologies (Frh-AVV). In 2002, Markus embarked on a new journey by joining Novartis Pharma in Basel as a Project Leader in Packaging & Device Development. Over the years, he has demonstrated exceptional leadership and strategic prowess, earning him the responsibility of heading the global project team since 2020. In this role, Markus is spearheading the strategy and implementation of PVC-free and sustainable primary packaging for oral medication, aligning with Novartis Pharma's commitment to sustainability and innovation.
