Biography: Mostafa Nakach holds a PhD from University of Toulouse, where his research focused on the stabilization and production of nanocrystalline suspensions. He also holds a Master’s degree in Pharmaceutics and Biopharmaceutics from Paris-Sud University and is a Pharmaceutical Engineer graduated from École des Mines d'Albi. Mostafa is the founder of Pharma Process Institute (PPI), an organization dedicated to advanced training and strategic advisory services in pharmaceutical process development and manufacturing. Launching on June 1st, PPI supports pharmaceutical professionals and organizations facing complex development, industrialization, and scale-up challenges by delivering high-level expertise, scientific insight, and practical solutions across modern pharmaceutical manufacturing processes. Prior to founding PPI, Mostafa spent more than 38 years within Sanofi, where he held several global leadership positions in pharmaceutical development and manufacturing sciences. Mostafa is recognized as a global expert in pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and formerly served as Global Head of Process Engineering at Sanofi. In this role, he acted as the global reference for the characterization, development, robustness, and scale-up of commercial manufacturing processes for parenteral drug products across multiple biological modalities within the global CMC portfolio.
