- Stephan Grau is Lead for Takeback at Sanofi’s Global Device and Packaging Unit (GDPU). He is driving the company's circular economy strategy for pharmaceutical devices across Europe. He leads Sanofi's participation in the Sustainable Market Initiative (SMI) Healthcare Taskforce's joint industry Takeback Scheme - a collaboration of 10 leading pharma companies working to establish post-consumer collection and recycling of medical devices across European markets. With a unique combination of scientific expertise (ETH Zurich, biology) and business acumen (HSG St. Gallen), Stephan brings over 20 years of pharmaceutical experience spanning marketing, strategic analysis and international brand management across Sanofi, Lilly and Abbott to sustainability challenges in the pharmaceutical industry.
