Francesco BRAZZAROLA

Business Development Manager

Biography: Francesco Brazzarola is Business Development Manager in the R&D Department at PBL S.p.A. since 2025, focusing on technology innovation and advanced inspection solutions for pharmaceutical applications. He has nearly 20 Years of experience in R&D, specializing in Container Closure Integrity Testing (CCIT) and non-destructive inspections methods for the pharmaceutical and FMCG automation industries. Previously, as Technologies and Systems Director in an Italian multinational group, he led proof-of-concept developments and established partnerships with universities and research centers, enabling successful technology transfer and portfolio expansion. Francesco holds a Master's degree in Telecommunications Engineering with specialization in Optical Communications from the University of Padua. Since the beginning of his career, he has designed and developed several optical and spectroscopy-based control systems, notably including the first Italian Headspace Gas Analyzer in 2005 at the National Institute for the Physics of Matter (INFM), to detect oxygen on board automated inspection machines. He supervises AI-powered R&D advancements in computer vision and leads innovation in automated visual inspection systems. His work focuses on practical, real-world applications, such as the development and implementation of solutions for complex manufacturing challenges.
