- Laurence BOURET is a waste management expert for more than 20 years and the CEO of DASTRI. She started her career in the public sector before joining the car industry. Laurence dedicated 5 years to her children before developing along with Jacques PELISSARD, former MP and former President of the French Mayor’s Association, the first national resource center for waste management. Since 2013, Laurence BOURET manages a unique and peculiar not-for-profit Producer Responsibility Organization (PRO). DASTRI is a coalition of 92 pharma & medical device companies, it is also a collection network of 20 000 pharmacies for 1.3 billion medical sharps waste generated every year in France by homecare patients.
